Excellent fish and chip shop. Very fresh fish in light crispy batter with nice chips. They also take the skin off the fish which is so much better than leaving it on. I particularly like their lunchtime cod and chips special. A good sized portion at a very reasonable price. All in all great value for money and nice people running the shop. Easy to park too.

Both our freshly fried cod and chips we have just had were frankly both the most delicious we have ever had anywhere! The batter was crispy and just perfect while the staff are always friendly and efficient. There was a lovely atmosphere as we waited a short time for our meals to be ready. Highly recommended!

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever tried. There was a generous amount of finger-licking good chips, and the fish was fresh and juicy. Kudos to the owners for the cleanliness. The shop was absolutely spotless. The staff were cheerful, greeted me with a big smile and kindly presented their food menu. If in doubt where to eat, Prestwood Plaice is the place for you. Definitely coming back 😋

One of the cleanest food joints I've ever eaten at. Right from the start, I was greeted with a big smile from the cheerful and helpful staff. They were kind enough to present all of their food items and make their reccomendations based on my prefferences. I had the traditional fish and chips. The fish was fresh and juicy, and the chips had a nice yellow colour and a nice salty sweet taste. I also had the mushy peas, which was a perfect dip for the fish. The portion was quite big, and by the time I finished the meal - i was full (and yearning for a bear). All in all, the food is DELICIOUS and the place, SPOTLESS. I recommend you try it, ASAP.

Portion size is good, ordered the small size, both the fish and the chips were excellent, could have done with more salt and vinegar as although I asked for a heavy hand you couldn't taste it on one portion of chips and none at all on both fish. I'll remember to take my own condiments next time and there will definitely be a next as the food is proper fish and chips.
